OUR ESTATE’S STORY
The Domaine La Trésorière has a prestigious past. Inhabited since 1678, the estate has witnessed the birthplace of two notable men. Jean-Jacques Dortous de Mairan was born at La Trésorière in 1678. He passed away at the Louvre in 1771. A physicist, astronomer, and member of the French Academy, he lived between the Louvre and La Trésorière.
